PingCx is joining Facility Grid, here's why we're so excited

When we founded PingCx in 2024, we had a simple conviction: commissioning shouldn't stop the day construction ends, and it shouldn't depend on clipboards, spot checks, and sampling. Buildings deserve continuous validation: every point, every sequence, every day.

That conviction became our autonomous commissioning platform: connecting directly to any building automation system, automating functional performance testing, and continuously validating building operation against design intent. Along the way, we proved that automation can dramatically reduce commissioning time while improving consistency, quality, and energy efficiency across even the most complex building systems.

Today, we're thrilled to share the next chapter: PingCx has been acquired by Facility Grid, and our platform will eventually become FG Validate, a core pillar of a unified building lifecycle platform.

Our trust in Facility Grid

We didn't set out just to find an acquirer. We set out to find a partner who shared our belief that buildings shouldn't start to degrade the day construction ends. Facility Grid is a leading cloud-based platform for commissioning, operational readiness, and quality control that is trusted by major commissioning providers, data centers, contractors, automation providers, and building owners. They've built the digital system of record for construction commissioning. We've built the autonomous engine for validating that systems actually perform as designed, from turnover through long-term operations. Put those together and you get something the industry has never had: one connected platform spanning the entire building lifecycle.

One platform with three integrated products

With this acquisition, Facility Grid is launching a new product strategy built around three integrated offerings:

FG Construct: Industry-leading commissioning, quality management, and operational readiness software. The digital construction system of record, managing equipment installation, quality control, turnover, and commissioning through handover.

FG Validate, powered by PingCx: Connects to any building automation system to autonomously perform point-to-point checkout, pre-functional and functional performance testing, and sequence-of-operations verification; then continuously monitors equipment throughout the building lifecycle.

FG Sustain: Launching in September. An AI-native solution that helps engineering firms, sustainability consultants, and building owners streamline ASHRAE Level 1, 2, and 3 energy audits, utility analysis, carbon reporting, performance modeling, and energy optimization.

For our existing customers

Everything you rely on PingCx for stays, and gets stronger.

Same platform, bigger engine. FG Validate is PingCx: 100% BAS coverage, autonomous testing, continuous validation against design intent. Now it's backed by a larger team and a broader product organization.

Fewer disconnected tools. Construction technology has historically been delivered through point solutions that don't talk to each other. Our joint customers have told us they want integrated, complete solutions. This acquisition delivers exactly that — from a single connected platform.

Continuity across the lifecycle. Data and workflows now flow from construction commissioning through validation and into ongoing operational performance and sustainability reporting. Your building's story lives in one place.

The Road Ahead

As Facility Grid CEO Daniel Russo put it, the vision is to create the system of record for engineering to maintain and improve building performance. We couldn't agree more, it's the same vision that drove us to build PingCx, now with the platform and the team to deliver it at scale, across data centers, healthcare, higher education, manufacturing, offices, and other mission-critical facilities.

To our customers, partners, and everyone who believed in autonomous commissioning early: our sincerest thank you. This milestone belongs to you as much as it does to us. And to the buildings we haven't met yet — we're just getting started.
